Our dysphagia course provides an essential introduction to all staff working with individuals with dysphagia to provide the theory to support their understanding of the condition the symptoms and risks associated with dysphagia

  • Understand what dysphagia is and the normal process of swallowing
  • Understand the complications of swallowing and the effects of this
  • Identify the range of professionals involved and the process of diagnosis of dysphagia
  • Look at the treatments for dysphagia
  • Look at nutritional support needs
  • Supporting the individual with dysphagia


The trainer will carry out an on-going assessment

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance

The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
